Phor Plai Sombun Biography

Phor Plai Sombun, Male Elephant, Age 68

He was a blind elephant, 68 years old, with whom I had lived before. More than ten years ago, he was once a riding elephant. Later, my friend could no longer take care of him due to his chronic illness that made him weak, so he entrusted Phor Plai Sombun to me.

He lived with me for over a year. During that time, he suffered from severe diarrhea, and because of his old age, he peacefully passed away.

Distinct Feature:

- Only one tusk on the left side

- Blind in both eyes
